ALWAYS AVOID Plastic!. What if you have already bought plastic bowls? Just like we did, because we did not know any better!. We bought 10 bowls for our 5 puppies, one for water and one for food. They were ALL plastic. Just use the plastic bowl for food becuae food stays in the bowl only for a very short time compared to water.
Never use the plastic bowl for storing or feeding water, simply because the water in the bowl will be always available for the dog, and the plastic in the bow will continuously poison the water your dog is drinking.
